Job Description

The Technical Administrator / Estimator will be responsible for creating quotations, estimates and analysing customer requirements. You will provide a high level of support to our engineers and work with the teams to ensure jobs are completed to a high standard.

The key points to the role is:

  • Converting engineers report and surveys into client quotations
  • Costing of jobs using schedule of rates
  • Following up on existed quotes with clients to convert them to jobs
  • Ensuring all necessary materials are ordered and prepared in time for the works to be carried out.
  • Working with the compliance team to compile the relevant documentation.
  • On completion of works, closing of jobs, costings and paperwork ready for invoicing.

Pervious skills or expertise

  • Building maintenance/ renovation experience.
  • Commercial awareness for material and labour costing
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in using CRM systems, excel and work.
