Job Description
The Technical Administrator / Estimator will be responsible for creating quotations, estimates and analysing customer requirements. You will provide a high level of support to our engineers and work with the teams to ensure jobs are completed to a high standard.
The key points to the role is:
- Converting engineers report and surveys into client quotations
- Costing of jobs using schedule of rates
- Following up on existed quotes with clients to convert them to jobs
- Ensuring all necessary materials are ordered and prepared in time for the works to be carried out.
- Working with the compliance team to compile the relevant documentation.
- On completion of works, closing of jobs, costings and paperwork ready for invoicing.
Pervious skills or expertise
- Building maintenance/ renovation experience.
- Commercial awareness for material and labour costing
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills
- Experience in using CRM systems, excel and work.
